Stacy McNally & Ian McNally
The Monarch volleyball team is home to John Marshall High School
in Glen Dale, W.Va. They have three different teams including
freshman, junior varsity, and varsity. The John Marshall High
School athletic teams are part of the Ohio Valley Athletic
Conference, one of the largest high school athletic conferences in
the county. They are led by their coach, Stacy McNally, who
has also worked to expand youth volleyball programs in the
community.

Betsy Frohnapfel & Don Mason
Formed in 1835, the Marshall County Commission focuses on the
betterment of the county through expansion of infrastructure,
economic development, and special projects to benefit the many
communities in the county. Betsy Frohnapfel has served
as the county administrator for the past 15 years. Her
goal as administrator for the County Commission is to work to help
them do their part in making Marshall County a better place to
live.

Susan Acito
Program Officer
The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County (CFWC), an
affiliate of The Pittsburgh Foundation, works to safeguard the
well-being of the local community by supporting an array of
charitable programs operated by Westmoreland County's nonprofit
organizations. In 2012, CFWC provided more than $500,000 in
grants to nonprofit programs serving the areas of Basic Needs,
Education, Arts & Culture, Neighborhoods & Communities,
Health & Well-Being, and Conservation & Economic Growth in
order to address community needs and help build a better
community.

Bob Brookover
Established in 1947, the Blacksville Volunteer Fire Department
is comprised of 25 volunteers that respond to fires and other
emergency hazards in the Blacksville, W.Va. area.
Additionally, there are many other volunteers that support the
department throughout the year with various fundraising
efforts. Bob Brookover serves as the Chief of the Blacksville
Volunteer Fire Department, and has been a member for many
years.

Dave Knuth
The Strand Theatre Preservation Society was established for the
purpose of restoring the historic Strand Theatre to its original
grandeur. They have accomplished their goal of restoring and
reopening the theater in an effort to provide the Moundsville area
with a facility to house all expressions of the arts. David Knuth
serves as the Board President of the Strand Theater Preservation
Society, and has been an active part of the organization since its
establishment more than 12 years ago.

Thomas Moore
The Clay-Battelle Band is comprised of middle school and high
school students from Clay-Battelle Middle-High School in
Blacksville, W.Va. Led by their band director, Mr. Thomas
Moore, the band has grown from seven students to nearly
fifty. Through Mr. Moore's leadership, the band
received a stellar performance ranking at their regional
competition and their efforts helped revive music and the arts in
their community.

Tina Shaw
Established in 1953, the Marion County Chamber of Commerce has
assisted businesses with everything from getting started to finding
innovative ways to grow and succeed. Through the years, the chamber
has expanded its focus to include education, economic development
and our county's political future. Based in Fairmont, W.Va.,
Tina Shaw serves as their executive director and is a tireless
advocate for promoting business and community in Marion County.

The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to
those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and
employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering,
here at home and around the world, through five key service areas:
Disaster Relief, Service to the Armed Forces, Blood Services,
Health and Safety Services and International Services.

Tom Hart
The Marshall County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is
tasked with coordinating response to disasters and other major
emergencies across the county. Led by Tom Hart, their staff
monitors all hazards and emergencies and oversees countywide
emergency response plans. When Tom isn't working to keep the
citizens of Marshall County safe, he serves his community as a
member of the Cameron City Council, and coaches several sports
teams at Cameron High School.

The mission of Waynesburg & Beautiful represents a community
endeavor to preserve, and revitalize our historic downtown area as
we cultivate a heightened public awareness of the educational,
cultural and historical opportunities and convenience in shopping
associated with visiting the Main Street area.

children in school. Literacy instruction transforms lives,
strengthens families, and helps create a vital community for us

The City of Wheeling Fire Department is most proud of our
community service in public service training. We provide CPR, AED
and First Aid training which reached over 1200 citizens last year.
Our Bureau of Fire Prevention reached over 1500 persons last year
in the areas of home safety, high-rise residents and fire
extinguisher training. The City of Wheeling Fire Department is not
only committed to keeping their members safe, but the citizens as
well.

90,000 individuals yearly in lifesaving skills. We collect and
supply vital blood products, and support military families
coping with deployment of loved ones. The American Red Cross is
where people mobilize to help their neighbors-across the street,
across the country, and across the world-in emergencies.
