CONSOL Energy continued its partnership with Southwest Virginia
Community College, supporting the college's annual Festival of the
Arts. CONSOL has been a long-time sponsor of the festival and
also works with arts councils in Buchanan and Tazewell counties to
support their programming. On hand for this year's
presentation were, from left, SWCC Director of Major Gifts Susan
Hagy; SWCC President Mark Estepp; CONSOL Energy Public Affairs
Director Cathy St. Clair; and SWCC Educational Foundation Director
Mary Lawson.

Sunday, April 7
CONSOL Energy participated in the Greater Pittsburgh Literarcy
Council's 6th Annual Trivia Bowl. CONSOL Energy sponsored two
teams: The CONSOL Stars Team (pictured first), from left to right:
John McLane, Rodney Pratt, Chad Shepherd and Wesley
Williams. The CONSOL Energy Absolute Zero Team, from left to
right: Jim Hough, Ellen Hough, Steve Winberg and Dick Winschel.

Wednesday, April 10
CONSOL Energy will participate in the 2013 NAPE East Business
Conference on Wednesday, April 10. The conference, which will
be held at the David E. Lawrence Convention Center, will bring
together leading experts and executives from top energy companies
for a discussion on how to be successful in today's oil and gas
business landscape.

Wednesday, April 10
CONSOL Energy visited with first graders at Shenandoah
Elementary School in Sarahsville, OH. CONSOL donated money to
help the school purchase technology for students to use during
small group curriculum.

Thursday, April 25
CONSOL Energy sponsored the Washington County Envirothon, an
annual environmental competition for county high school
students.
Teams of 5 rotated between 5 different stations testing
their knowledge of aquatics, forestry, wildlife, soils and current
issues.

Saturday, April 27
CONSOL Energy to host its 2nd annual Fish for Fun Day at Lake
Wilma. Kids ages 12 and under can fish for free and cast
their luck at catching the "biggest fish." Prizes will be
awarded to the first through third place winners in each age
division.

Saturday, April 27
CONSOL Energy will sponsor the Jane Lew Lion Club's 28th
annual General Lightburn 5K and 1 Mile Runs as well as the 5K
Wellness Walk. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to
participate in the event, which will be held at Stonewall
Resort.
Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital will provide a wellness
check, offering blood pressure, weight and heigh mesurements along
with BMI calculations.
Proceeds from the event will be used to provide local and
statewide community service projects. Registration is

Tuesday, April 30
CONSOL Energy's Randy Albert, COO Gas Operations and Katharine
Fredriksen, SVP for Environmental Strategy and Regulatory Affairs
will speak at the 2nd Annual Utica Shale Congress in Columbus,
Ohio.
